Activities conduced : 2025-26
  • The Institute organized two awareness sessions on “Health and Yoga” and “Mental Health and Stress Management” on 16 July 2025 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Dnyanprasad Sabhagruh for students of all departments.
  • To promote a safe and inclusive environment, awareness sessions on the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), its functions, and the provisions of the POSH Act were conducted in December 2025 for first-year girl students.
  • A session on “Self-Defence Awareness and Hands-on Training” was organized on 05 March 2026 for girl students to enhance their confidence and personal safety skills.
  • The Institute celebrated International Women’s Day on 06 March 2026 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Dnyanprasad Sabhagruh for all women faculty and staff members.
  • A session on “Women's Financial Empowerment” was conducted on 28 April 2026 for women faculty and staff members to create awareness about financial planning, investment, and economic independence.

  • Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) of D Y Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi has organised a session on “Healthy Cycle, Healthy Life” on 9th August 2024 at 2.30pm - 3.30pm, at Dnyanprasad Sabhagruh for all girl students, ladies faculty and staff members of the Institute.  The session was delivered by Ms. Sonali Bhagwat.
  • Session on “Personality Development and healthy Awareness” on 30th September 2024 at 2.30pm - 3.30pm, at Dnyanprasad Sabhagruh for First Year girl students of the Institute.  The session was delivered by Ms. Kanchan Yadav.
  •  Women’s Day Celebration program on 07th March 2025 from 2.30pm– 4.30pm in Dnyanprasad Sabhagruh for all ladies’ faculty and staff members of the Institute.
