On the occasion of world Wetlands Day Civil Department of D.Y.Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi, Pune has organized Panel discussion. Also an Expert talks for the students.Wetlands play a number of functions, including water purification, water storage, processing of carbon and other nutrients, stabilization of shorelines, and support of plants and animals. Wetlands are also considered the most biologically diverse of all ecosystems, serving as home to a wide range of plant and animal life. To know the importance of Wetlands to students expert talk by Dr. Sachin Mane has organized.
A Panel discussion headed by Dr. Ashok More was organized to discuss the issues and solutions for conservation of wetlands on this occasion.
Principal, Vice-Principal, faculty members, students were participated in this activity.
