It is matter of pride that D. Y.Patil College of Engineering,Akurdi, Pune-44 has been selected for award amongst the top 3 performer in "JAL SHAKTI ABHIYAN". The award is given by Hon. Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal , "NISHANK" MHRD MINISTER , at AICTE NEW DELHI on 3rd December 2019.
As per the directives received from MHRD’s Innovation Cell (Government of India), our institute celebrated Innovation day on, October 15, 2019 to commemorate the birth anniversary of our visionary and well acclaimed proponent of Innovation India, former president,Dr. A.P.J. Kalam.
On this occasion, Institute Innovation Cell and IIT Bombay Remote center was inaugurated by the hands of Dr. Arvind D Shaligram,Coordinator, DIC SPPU, Dean, Science & Technology SPPU, President, IIC SPPU.

DY Patil College of Engineering has successfully achieved the license to collaborate with the internationally recognized brand of TED to host the TEDxDYPCOE event. TEDxDYPCOE is a single-day event that will involve the participation of established and immensely respected guest speakers from IIT’S/NIT’S, Entrepreneur and from Film industry.These guest speakers will be holding talks on Technology, Entertainment and Design.
The event is conducted in Shantai Sabhagruh on Friday, 30th August, 2019 for a duration of 5 hours starting from 10 AM up to 2 PM.
