MoM AY:2018-19

 Minutes of meeting (13th June 2018)

 Dr. B.S Balapgol, Chairperson of IQAC welcomed the committee members and started the meeting as per the agenda

Planning of Academic Calendar 2018-19, Semester-I 

  1. Dr. Mrs. P. Malathi madam shared that Semester-I (SE, TE & BE) will commence from 18 June 2018  as per the notice from SPPU.
  2. Dr. Mrs. P. Malathi, IQAC Coordinator shared that Academic planner is prepared as per the notice and the copy of the academic planner for Academic year 2018-19 sem-I was circulated to all the members for review.
  3. Honorable campus director Col. S. K. Joshi shared that the academic calendar should be strictly implemented and priority for teaching learning process should be emphasized during the entire semester.
  4. Formation of AQAR committee with the coordination of Dr Mrs Neeta Deshpande should be formed along with all the departmental NAAC coordinators. This Committee will work for the Preparation of AQAR report which is to be submitted to NAAC in October 2018.
  5. The AQAR Committee will produce the draft of AQAR for the approval. The approved report by all the committee members will be send to NAAC office.
  6. As per the guidelines of Dr D K Maheshwari, Chairman, NAAC  Peer Team committee the institute has to strictly follow OBE under the Education Technology Cell (ETC). Dr V A Kulkarni NBA Coordinator is taking over his guidelines under NBA process for the institute.
  7. Dr. Mrs. P. Malathi, IQAC Coordinator and Vice Principal gave detailing about academic process for the academic year 2018 under the guidance of Dr V A Kulkarni as per NBA.

 Meeting Conclusion

The academic calendar was approved by the IQAC members with little changes suggested.

 


MoM AY:2017-18

MINUTES OF MEETING (27TH  APRIL  2018)

  1. B.S Balapgol, Chairperson of IQAC welcomed the committee members and started the meeting as per the agenda
  2. Mrs. P. Malathi discussed the Academic Calendar for the Sem-I 2018-19 in the meeting, all the members agreed and approved the same.
  3. B.S. Balapgol mentioned that Academic TT for all the departments is ready and monitoring for the same will also be rigorously done by the Academic team of the Institute.
  4. The First Audit of the same is schedule in the first week of June 2018 to check the subject preparation of the teachers before commencement of the Semester.
  5. All the teachers are instructed to prepare laboratory manuals for the students to help them prepare for the practical before entering into the lab for performing experiments.
  6. Barucha appreciated that teachers are completing NPTEL certifications for self-development and such practices are very novel in the education systems. He further mentioned that Skills up gradation of faculty fraternity is the need for today’s generation where students are exposed to several resources for their curriculum.
  7. Members appreciated the initiative of the institute for the faculty to enroll for IITBX –ICT
  8. B.S. Balapgol sir announced about the National Conference is planned by Mechanical Engineering department in month of July 2018.

 

MINUTES OF MEETING (5TH FEBRUARY 2018)

  1. Dr. B.S Balapgol, Chairperson of IQAC welcomed the committee members and started the meeting as per the agenda.
  2. Planning of Academic Calendar 2017-18, Sem-II.
  3. Dr. B.S. Balapgol Sir shared that Sem-II (SE, TE & BE) will commence from 15/12/2017 as per the notice from SPPU.
  4. Dr. Mrs. P. Malathi, IQAC Coordinator shared that Academic planner is prepared as per the notice and the copy of the academic planner for Academic year 2017-18, sem-I was circulated to all the members for review.
  5. Honorable campus director Col. S. K. Joshi shared that the academic calendar should be strictly implemented and priority for teaching learning process should be emphasized during the entire semester.
  6. Dr. B.S. Balapgol sir mentioned about the planning for the guest lectures in the coming semester and International Conference ICETSET 2018 in May 2018 and performance appraisal for faculty members in the month of May.
  7. Dr. Mrs. P. Malathi, IQAC Coordinator and Vice Principal gave detailing about the research proposals that were submitted to AICTE for the year 2017 under various schemes by the departments of the college.

 Meeting Conclusion

The academic calendar was approved by the IQAC members with little changes suggested.

 

MINUTES OF MEETING (4TH OCTOBER 2017)

Dr. B.S Balapgol, Chairperson of IQAC welcomed the committee members and started the meeting as per the agenda 

  1. Malathi shared that Academic Audit was scheduled from 4th October to 9th October 2017.
  2. The Mr. Nighojkar suggested to conduct the academic audit by the external college members to ensure better performance by the faculty
  3. Campus Director Col. S.K. Joshi advised that the second audit can be conducted by the expert faculty members from DYPIEMR, Akurdi, Pune. Further he advised to plan the action for the improvement of the loopholes identified during audit II
  4. Principal shared the preparation of the NAAC visit.

Meeting conclusion: 
All the IQAC members were invited by the Dr. Mrs. P. Malathi for the NAAC visit.

 

MINUTES OF MEETING (29TH AUGUST 2017)

Dr. B.S Balapgol, Chairperson of IQAC welcomed the committee members and started the meeting as per the agenda

  1. Dr. Malathi shared that Academic Audit was scheduled from 14th August 2017 to 21st August 2017.
    2. The report of the academic audit from the entire departments was briefed by her.
    3. It was observed by the members that few faculties are not maintaining their course file as per the requirement and suggested that letter of improvement duly signed by Principal and Vice principal should be issued to the respective faculty members.
    4. It was further suggested that the common problems of the department like expert lecture conduction need to be ensured by the head of the respective department and thus letter should be issued to all such HODs.
    5. Col Joshi sir advised that the loopholes in the first audit to be ensured during second audit and the completion of the lacunas to be achieved.

 

MINUTES OF MEETING (27TH JULY 2017)

Dr. B.S Balapgol, Chairperson of IQAC welcomed the committee members and started the meeting as per the agenda

  1. Review of the minutes of meeting for the meeting conducted on 20th June 2017.
  2. Dr. Mrs. P. Malathi shared that as semester is already started and thus academic committee is formed and will monitor the academic activity and also audit the academic process on day to day basis.
    3. She further shared the copy of the Central Academic committee with their roles and responsibilities defined.
    4. The copy of the Academic Audit Report was also discussed with the members.
    5. Meeting was concluded with Approval of Academic committee and Audit report format.
